Hi! I’m a Biology tutor with a BSc in Medical Biosciences from Imperial College London, where I am currently completing an MSc in Translational Neuroscience. I have over two years of tutoring experience and teach pre-A-level, pre-IB, A-level and IB Biology students.

My lessons are interactive, structured and tailored to your individual goals. We will begin by identifying your strengths and the areas you find most challenging. Based on that and your curriculum, I will create a learning plan, whether you need ongoing support, help understanding a particular topic or preparation for upcoming exams.

I like to break complex biological concepts into more manageable steps using diagrams, examples and active questioning. We will regularly practise exam-style questions so that you learn how to interpret command words and apply your knowledge to earn the most marks. I also use short quizzes and retrieval activities to strengthen your memory and check your progress.

Everyone learns differently, so I will adapt the pace and format to suit you. I am happy to support students with additional learning needs, including ADHD and dyslexia, by using clear lesson structures, accessible materials, regular breaks and certain tricks that I have picked up on (I myself have ADHD!).

My aim is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, build confidence in Biology and develop the skills to succeed independently.
