My teaching style is patient, supportive and adaptable, as I understand that every student learns differently. I like to begin by identifying what a student already understands and where they may be struggling, so that lessons can be tailored to their individual needs.
I aim to break down challenging concepts into smaller, manageable steps, using clear explanations, practical examples and questions to check understanding. I also believe that actively involving students in their learning is important, rather than simply giving them the answers.
I encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes and work through problems independently, offering guidance and reassurance along the way. Where appropriate, I would incorporate practice questions and exam-style activities to help reinforce their knowledge and develop confidence in applying what they have learnt.
Above all, I want students to feel comfortable, supported and motivated during lessons, while making steady progress towards their academic goals.
