I am an experienced Doctor with a PGCert in Physiology. I am well placed to support students studying Biology and Human Anatomy, including those preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, and medical school applications. I can help students develop a deeper understanding of complex topics while improving their examination technique, analytical thinking, and confidence. I understand the need to demonstrate knowledge to gain the best grades and how achieve this in the most effective way. I also realise the individuals strengths and weakness will make the path to learning unique and the best results are achieved by making students realise the their own potential. I find results are achieved through work but also understand the uniqueness in each student.
I believe that every student is an individual with unique strengths and areas for development. My teaching approach is tailored to each learner, identifying gaps in understanding and focusing on the areas that will have the greatest impact on their progress. By building on students' strengths while addressing their weaknesses, I help them make meaningful improvements and reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
As a qualified medical doctor, I have a strong scientific background, particularly in human anatomy and physiology, and understand how scientific knowledge is applied in clinical practice. During medical school, I founded the Anatomical Society at Barts and The London Medical School, where I organised anatomy lectures and supported fellow students in their learning. I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Physiology, which was heavily based in muscle and Cardiorespiratory physiology, and its mechanisms of control.
