Somayyeh Mohammadian

I am a qualified English teacher with PGCE and QTS, with experience teaching in UK and international schools. I teach KS1, KS2, KS3 and ESOL students, supporting learners of different ages, abilities and language backgrounds. My lessons are designed to build confidence, improve communication and help students make steady progress in reading, writing, speaking and grammar.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual needs and goals. Some students may need support with schoolwork, comprehension and writing skills, while others may want to improve spoken English, prepare for exams or strengthen grammar and vocabulary. I create a calm, encouraging and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence step by step.

My lessons are engaging, clear and well organised. I use a variety of methods including guided practice, discussion, reading activities, writing tasks, pronunciation support and interactive exercises. For younger learners, I make lessons enjoyable and accessible while still maintaining strong educational progress. For ESOL learners and older students, I focus on practical communication, fluency and accurate use of English in real situations.

As someone passionate about language and literature, I aim not only to teach English but also to help students enjoy learning and become more independent and confident in their abilities.
