Hello! I’m Sofia, a Spanish teacher with over four years of experience, alongside a professional background in Events and Communication.
Teaching is a big part of who I am. I’m naturally curious, people-oriented, and I genuinely enjoy connecting with others and understanding what motivates them. I believe learning a language is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but also about confidence, culture, and communication. My goal is to help students feel comfortable expressing themselves and to make Spanish feel useful and alive in real-life situations.
My experience in communication and events has shaped the way I teach: I’m organised, creative, and able to adapt quickly to different personalities and learning styles. I enjoy designing lessons that feel dynamic and personalised, combining structure with spontaneity. I like to create a relaxed environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and speak freely.
I consider myself an empathetic, energetic, and approachable person. I care about building genuine connections with my students and celebrating their progress, no matter how small. I also value consistency and commitment, both from myself and from the people I work with.
Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about culture, travel, music, and meaningful conversations. These interests naturally influence my teaching style and help me bring real-life topics into lessons. For me, teaching Spanish is not just a job — it’s a way of connecting with people and helping them grow with confidence.
