My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether that's improving confidence in a subject, preparing for exams, strengthening core knowledge, or achieving top grades. Before we begin, I'll take the time to understand your current level, identify any areas you find challenging, and create a learning plan that works for you.
I believe students learn best when they actively engage with the material rather than simply memorising facts. My lessons combine clear explanations, discussion-based learning, worked examples, practice questions, and exam-style application to help build both understanding and confidence. I also place a strong emphasis on developing effective study techniques and critical thinking skills that students can use independently.
As a final-year Neuroscience PhD student and Associate Fellow of Advance HE (AFHEA), I have experience teaching undergraduate neuroscience students as well as tutoring A-Level Biology. I have also taught English, Biology, and Chemistry at a charity school in India, which helped me develop a flexible teaching style that can adapt to different ages, abilities, and learning preferences.
My aim is to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and challenging themselves. No matter your starting point, I want you to leave each lesson feeling more confident and with a clearer understanding of the subject than when you arrived.
