Sinead Carter

I am an experienced French tutor, having taught students in the years below me throughout most of my educational career. My lessons will take a structured approach to ensure you are meeting your aims. I will work with you to determine what you would like to gain from our lessons and tailor each session to hitting those goals. Having been a student for so long I also know how important it is to feel relaxed and confident in able to truly make progress, so I will work hard to ensure each tutee feels comfortable enough to ask questions and that we can learn together in a pleasant environment. I am very flexible with working times so willing to be on call whenever needed, especially in the run up to important assessments. I have a wealth of learning materials from my own studies that I am also willing to share in order to help my tutees acheive the very best results possible. In addition to this, I know that creating materials for revision takes a lot of time that could be spent revising or learning, so I am willing to create revision resources for each student, specific to their individual and unique learning needs. This can be discussed during the session. I am willing to run sessions in French or English, depending on the student's individual preferences and needs. Language learning is an immensely valuable experience and an incredible skill to have and I feel passionately about sharing this with other students.
