Simon Patiniott

Simon is a qualified 11 Plus Tutor. He taught for 15 years at a leading international sixth form college, based in Manchester. An Honours Degree in Economics, a PGCE and a CELTA Certificate. Experience of one-to-one tuition for the 11 Plus examination. A current Examiner for the Cambridge International Examinations Board. Simon worked for the (ISI) Independent Schools Inspectorate as a Lead Inspector. Over 25 years’ experience teaching Business Studies, Accountancy, and Business Law as well as the 11 Plus. In addition, experience of teaching GCSE Maths and Advanced Business Studies. He has taught most nationalities and enjoys helping students to achieve exam success and go to university. He believes in conducting a needs analysis to identify the students’ strengths and weaknesses. It is important to develop a rapport with the student and to assist the student in achieving exam success. This is by practising exam techniques and completing past exam papers. Providing constructive feedback and raising the student’s confidence over a period.
