I am a friendly, patient and supportive English tutor offering personalised one-to-one lessons for adults who want to improve their English and feel more confident communicating in everyday life.
I achieved a grade B in both GCSE English Language and English Literature and have a strong understanding of written and spoken English. Although I am new to professional tutoring, I am passionate about helping others develop their English skills and will tailor each lesson to the individual student's ability, goals and learning needs.
I welcome complete beginners, beginners and intermediate learners. Lessons can focus on conversational English, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing and grammar, depending on the areas you would most like to improve.
I can also help you develop practical English skills for everyday life in the UK, including communicating confidently at work, attending appointments, speaking on the phone, shopping, travelling and having everyday conversations.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive and taught at a pace that suits you. There is no pressure or embarrassment if you make mistakes – we will use them as an opportunity to learn and improve.
Most importantly, my aim is to help you become more confident and independent when speaking and understanding English. Your lessons will be personalised around you, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
