My lessons are structured but relaxed, starting with a quick review of previous topics before introducing new content in simple, clear steps. I use a mix of explanation, worked examples, and practice questions to keep lessons interactive and engaging, encouraging students to ask questions and think independently. I adapt each session to the student’s level and goals, focusing on building confidence as well as exam technique, and I draw on my own experience of studying GCSEs to make the lessons relevant and effective.
I also place a strong emphasis on identifying weaker areas early on, so we can focus on improving them step by step without overwhelming the student. I regularly check understanding throughout the lesson and adjust my approach if something isn’t clear. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. In addition, I can help with exam-style questions, revision strategies, and time management to ensure students are fully prepared for their exams. Overall, my goal is to help students feel more confident, capable, and motivated in their studies.
