Hello! I'm Yusuf, a Physics undergraduate at Imperial College London, specialising in Theoretical Physics. With over two years of tutoring experience and a strong academic background, I offer engaging, results-driven lessons in Maths and Physics for GCSE and A-level students.

My approach is tailored, structured, and supportive. I identify each student’s strengths and challenges early on, and design a clear roadmap to help them excel. My lessons focus on building deep conceptual understanding and strong problem-solving skills, both essential for mastering STEM subjects. I use a combination of active learning techniques, real-world examples, and past paper practice to keep sessions both stimulating and effective.

As a tutor for the Comprehensive Oxford Mathematics and Physics Online School (COMPOS), I taught small groups of pre-university students, developed lesson plans, marked assignments, and provided detailed feedback. I’ve also worked with The One Tuition, where my students saw an average grade increase of 40%. I track progress meticulously using Excel and provide custom-made homework and revision material using LaTeX.

All online lessons are conducted via Google Meet, allowing for a flexible and convenient learning experience from the comfort of your home. I use Miro, an interactive online whiteboard, to simulate an in-person classroom environment. This allows us to collaborate in real-time, whether we’re working through past paper questions, breaking down complex concepts, or building visual diagrams together. You’ll be able to see every step of a worked solution as if we were face-to-face, and I often upload resources, notes, and revision material directly onto the board for easy access after the session. This setup ensures lessons are highly interactive, engaging, and tailored to your learning pace.

Whether you're aiming for top grades, university entrance, or simply more confidence in Maths or Physics, I’m here to help you succeed. Lessons are available online or in person and are fully flexible around your schedule. I look forward to working with you!

I’d definitely recommend Yusuf to anyone looking for a tutor. My son had lessons with him for about six months last year, and we saw a big improvement in his confidence and Maths grades. He’s just finished his GCSEs with amazing results, and Yusuf’s support really played a part in that.
