If you’re looking for a tutor who combines strong subject knowledge with a supportive and student-focused approach, I’d be delighted to work with you. Together, we can set clear goals, tackle any challenges, and make steady progress towards success in your exams and beyond.

I have got a GCSE in math where I achieved an A* alongside many other subjects. I am passionate about this subject and I know that I can help others achieve their wanted grade with the valuable experience I have gained so far. I have also achieved a Grade A in A-level Math and achieved top grades in A-level Further Math and Physics. I am currenlty Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in BEng in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southampton (Founding memebr of the Russel group Unis, Top 80 in the world, Top 15 in the UK).

I have entered many UK math challenges and have a lot of experience with how they work and the necessary content required for them. I am able to work with and help others proactively and always open to questions. I have achieved a Gold award in the British physics olympiad computational challenge which brings in my experience with working with math no only on pen and paper but also on computers via programming.

My main focus will be on making sure that we go at a pace comfortable for the student and cover as much of the syllabus in a timely fashion. I will give weekly HW and be open to any questions all the time via email or WhatsApp to parents and students.

My teaching style is clear, patient, and flexible. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to the individual’s pace and needs. Whether it’s breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, revisiting fundamentals, or focusing on exam technique, I make sure students feel supported and comfortable asking questions. My aim is not just to improve grades, but to help students see Maths as logical, approachable, and even enjoyable.

One of the things my students appreciate most is my flexibility—both in terms of teaching style and scheduling. I know how busy school life can get, so I do my best to fit lessons around your timetable. I’m approachable, encouraging, and always ready to go the extra mile to make sure my students feel confident and prepared. I do not teach during Holidays season as I believe students need time to do other things apart from studying to maintain a healthy mind and life. Mainly teach during the afternoons or weekends. The first lesson will be covering what the course is and how I will teach you. The rest of it will be to test how I teach and if the student is understanding me properly. First lesson Free. From then on wards we would begin our journey into making you understand Math and enjoy every step of it up to your GCSE exams.

He has taught me very well and can explain things perfectly. I initially started of with a Grade 6 in math and was very hopeless, but after these weekly lessons I have gotten even better with my math skills. Recently got a Grade 8 in my mock GCSEs and am very confident with myself as I head towards my actual exam in June. Would definitely recommend Shanni for a tutor!
