Hi, I’m Shanni! I’m a dedicated and friendly tutor specialising in GCSE and A-level Maths, Further Maths, and Statistics. With over three years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with a wide range of students, helping them build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve excellent results.
Academically, I have a strong background in Mathematics. I achieved a Grade nine in GCSE Maths and went on to earn an A in A-level Mathematics, alongside Further Maths and Physics. I’m now pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence (BEng) at the University of Southampton, which allows me to bring fresh insights and real-world applications of Maths into my lessons.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and flexible. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to the individual’s pace and needs. Whether it’s breaking down complex problems into manageable steps, revisiting fundamentals, or focusing on exam technique, I make sure students feel supported and comfortable asking questions. My aim is not just to improve grades, but to help students see Maths as logical, approachable, and even enjoyable.
One of the things my students appreciate most is my flexibility—both in terms of teaching style and scheduling. I know how busy school life can get, so I do my best to fit lessons around your timetable. I’m approachable, encouraging, and always ready to go the extra mile to make sure my students feel confident and prepared.
