I aim to follow a child & interest led learning approach in which I tailor the content and activities in each lesson to the preferences of the learner.

Although no two lessons are the same a session may look as follows:

We start our lesson with an image, object or question that inspires creative and connective thinking.

Followed by asking questions to ascertain the students prior knowledge.

Once this is clear we will move on to developing knowledge and understanding via conversation, videos, articles and activities.

Finally, we will move on to an age and ability appropriate activity that consolidates learning, with time for feedback and questions.

For younger learners each session will include a short break with a game.
