Hi, I'm James — a second-year War Studies student at King's College London. In sixth form, I taught myself A-Level History out of genuine interest, as my timetable didn’t allow me to take both History and Politics. Through this, I gained a strong understanding of the A-Level History syllabus and developed effective self-study skills that I now bring into my tutoring I wrote my EPQ on the Falklands dispute and my history coursework on the sinking of the ARA Belgrano. As a War Studies student, I currently research naval military history and strategy in East Asia. As a tutor, I aim to improve GCSE and A level students' essay writing technique and knowledge. I also studied Geography, Business and Politics at A level and History at GCSE.
