Having worked as a software tester in a leading IT firm Cognizant, my excellent proficiency in Mathematics and science is suited for teaching students needing support in STEM subject areas. As part of my profession working as a lead tester, I have trained multiple new starters with the knowledge on application use. I have also spent some time teaching in classrooms as part of my Engineering degree. I will structure my lessons in such a way that it is suited to the ability of students. The style and pace of teaching will also be modified according to each student. I do not follow a strict lesson plan, instead it would be more flexible in the form of presentations which will help students in understanding the concepts in a much better way. Also, small tasks will be assigned at the end of each session, in turn making the students practice more on the lesson taught. In order to make the most out of each session, the students will have to be focused and more interactive so that even the tiniest of doubts can be cleared on the spot. The student must also be able to take notes wherever possible as it would give them the benefit to revise and review for unlimited periods of time.
I am looking forward to assist students by providing my full support in the areas as required. I have no doubt that the student will gain more confidence in the lesson at the end of each session.
