First sessions always begin with some time to get to know your academic ambitions and interests! From then on, we will talk about your most preferred learning styles and what you hope to achieve from sessions. Through a standard of questions relating to your subject, we can figure out where you may need some support with understanding or methodology. Psychology is an interesting yet intricate subject, requiring deep understanding of core concepts and theories to build and further expand on. Without a doubt, I see psychology as a skill more than a topic you simply learn about and forget - by understanding behaviour, reasoning for actions and how someone's experiences can shape who they are today, you will learn to acknowledge just how different people are! This will help you with interpersonal skills, choice of language and way more transferable skills that will come in handy in future interactions. As sessions are online, I will be available via email through certain days of the week for further questions on content covered, or for more general queries regarding the social sciences. With a background in BSc Biomedical Sciences with iBSc Psychology, I am well equipped to support you through this chapter of your educational journey. Learning new concepts can sometimes be tricky, but by understanding the basics, then working on improving through active recall, questions and answers, and consistent effort, you can improve in whatever you choose to study.
