I will use powerpoints with engaging approaches. I will also be talking about my personal experience and real life examples to help the class better understand an otherwise perplexing topic. It is my introductory psychology class that intrigued me to pursuing this career. Although I am focusing on organizational science in the future as I am enrolled in the perspective PhD program, I believe having a wide array of information from different subjects is crucial to understanding psychology.

I have taken college-level psychology classes from a wide range, including industrial/organizational psychology, neuropsychology, memory, psychological modeling etc. Moreover, I have also taken research methods classes and statistical classes so I am very familiar with the math side of psychology too. Besides psychology, I have taken many French and German classes, and also sociology, philosophy, literary analysis, survey of western art and etc. Even though these classes are not in my expertise, I still find them helpful in that they gave me a new perspective in viewing psychology as a holistic area.

I was tutoring AP level statistics for a year and the students liked it a lot because I tried to use simple terms and examples to illustrate the math concepts. In addition, I was in the IB system so I totally understand the difficulty of the courses. My research paper during high school How Note-Taking in Multiple Languages Impacts Reading Comprehension Performance in Children and Adolescents?, was selected to be published in "Journal of Child and Adolescent Behavior".
