Having lived in Argentina for 2 years, I learned the language through daily practice in real life scenarios. I have a extensive knowledge in grammar and vocabulary, and aim to teach you to communicate in the real world! I feel that the lessons taught in school are, while useful for teaching structure, fairly impractical in real world scenarios. I will adapt my lessons to your needs and level, and practice with you as much as you'd like until you feel comfortable with the concepts that you are learning. Once we get to know each other, we can see exactly what you need help with, and I will develop my plans around your goals and learning style so that you may learn comfortably and feel understood, instead of just being talked at. In the United States, I use my Spanish on a near daily basis so I can stay on top of my accent and vocabulary, as I find that it is important to stay on top of the game in refining your skills. I have worked in both emergency services and an orthopedic clinic, and have used my Spanish extensively in both settings. I am currently playing professional ice hockey, so I have plenty of time available in the afternoons to work with you as often as you would like to! I aim to be flexible and adapt to your needs and teach you in the way that you would find most beneficial to your learning, instead of trying to find a footing in a program pushed upon you.
