Advert description
I lived in Neuquén, Argentina for 2 years performing humanitarian work for the under-privileged people of the province. During this time I became fluent in Spanish and developed a local accent with a well rounded vocabulary spanning across many topics of every day life. Upon returning from Argentina, I received my national certification in Spanish proficiency via the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). I have a passion for the language and Latin cultures, and have enjoyed being able to converse with people from all over South and Central America. I have previously done in person tutoring for Spanish, and have spent time mentoring and tutoring individuals with special needs.
I want to help others to see the joys and benefits of the Spanish language, so they may communicate with whoever they need to, in whatever setting they may find themselves in. At the end of the day, Spanish is an incredible language that has helped me to express myself in ways where English may falter. I seek to help others understand how similar we all are across the many cultures of the world, and to help open doors of any kind for those seeking to learn Spanish in a fun and constructive way!
