From my past experience teaching students of all ages and Levels, I have found that student respond to well to interactive learning. I have a plethora of personally curated activities, videos, interactive revision games, writing prompts to improve grammar at the students disposal which make the lessons fun as well as valuable and memorable in order to achieve those high grades. I consult with the students and parents to discern students level, figure out target goals and then tailor my lessons to match their needs. I divide my lessons into speaking and listening where the students have the opportunity to converse with a native speaker one to one which consequently improves their listening skills , for reading and writing I use old school methods used in France on students such as dictées which greatly improve their grammar and accuracy. I divide the lessons in this way so that the student may exercise key skills needed to achieve top grades in the GCSE. To help students adjust, I mirror my lessons as much as possible to the students classroom experience so that they may also benefit and get on track in the classroom which helps in key academic decisions like predicted grades. I use PowerPoint presentation and interactive whiteboards to teach the student and I make them as visually representative and memorable as possible. In using this teaching format of consultation + tailoring in the past, I have seen incredible results from students who were predicted lower grades, moving up into top band results across the board
