Sara-Jane Mahon

I am a conversation English tutor so I will have a conversation with you in English about anything you like, we will get to know each other and I will correct you if I hear mistakes in your English pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. I will answer any questions or go in to depth with any topics that you may be struggling with.

I am a native speaker and I have a kind and empathetic method of teaching. I enjoy talking about a range of topics. I hope that you will feel comfortable in my class and able to talk about a variety of things that interest you.

I have experience working for a large online platform teaching English as a foreign language to children of all ages, and I also have experience tutoring adults through phone call. My previous experience was very positive and I feel like my students developed a lot within our lessons.

I want to learn from you as much as you learn from me. I am interested in international cultures. I am currently learning Spanish myself and hope to incorporate this into my lessons at some point.

My method is fairly casual. My aim is to allow you to develop your English speaking skills in a calm and comfortable environment. I want you to feel at ease practising conversational English so that you can talk more naturally in English speaking settings.
