My lessons are personalised, engaging and designed around each learner’s individual goals, interests and learning style. I believe that the best learning happens when students feel comfortable, supported and confident to participate.

I begin by understanding each student’s current level, strengths and areas for development, then create structured lessons that combine clear explanations, practical activities, discussion, and opportunities to apply new skills. Lessons may include conversation practice, reading and writing activities, grammar and vocabulary development, exam preparation, problem-solving, or targeted support with specific areas of difficulty.

I have over 15 years of classroom experience as a British Qualified Teacher, including 11 years at Colegio Gran Bretaña, a British international private school in Bogotá, where I progressed to Curriculum Coordinator and Deputy Head of Key Stage Two. I have taught learners from over 50 nationalities and have extensive experience adapting lessons for different ages, abilities and learning needs.

Whether helping a child develop literacy and academic skills, preparing a student for GCSE/IB English, or supporting an adult learner to communicate more confidently, I create a positive and encouraging environment where learners can make progress and enjoy the process.
