I try to relate every lesson to real world examples as well as previous topics covered. This is so that content is learnt not only to pass examinations but to ensure that students truly understand why they are learning what they are.

I enjoy using drawings, mind-maps, exam questions, videos, quizzes and flashcards. These are multiple media forms which allow students that learn in various ways to find which formats suit them best. I always end a session with a quiz or practice exam questions so that the knoweldge can be applied. I then start every session with flashcards on the previous content, to ensure spaced, consistent repetition of information. This is so that students not only learn but retain their knowledge.
