Advert description
Hello! I am a fourth year Medical student with a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences from the Univesity of Exeter.
Over the course of my A-levels I tutored GCSE English Literature, Biology and History. Upon coming to University this shifted to encompass biology more comprehensively, supporting first year undergraduates as well as A-level students with their biology and biochemistry work.
Whilst now at Medical school, I have delivered sessions undergraduates in years 1-3 of their study. These have focused upon particular areas of the curriculum, for instance the Respiratory system. I have found this form of teaching particularly rewarding as it allows me to improve upon my own learning but also help others to grasp topics that I once too struggled with. From the sessions I have delivered thus far, I have been given good feedback on my teaching style - especially the utility of diagrams and examination questions.
I still feel able to deliver sessions regarding History, at GCSE and A-level. It is a subject I truly love and it is often a welcome respite from the biomedical study that encompasses my day-to-day life.
