I hold a First Class degree in French and German from the University of Oxford, together with a PGCE from Oxford, and I am fully qualified to teach in the UK. I have been tutoring and teaching French and German for over 20 years.

I provide online tuition in French and German for students aged 13 to adult. Whether you are preparing for GCSE, iGCSE or A-level examinations, or learning a language for work, travel or personal interest, I tailor every lesson to your individual needs and goals.

My lessons are engaging, well-structured and supportive, combining grammar and vocabulary with plenty of opportunities to practise speaking, listening, reading and writing. For school students, I focus on building skills, strengthening grammar, expanding vocabulary and developing effective exam techniques. Lessons are carefully planned to address areas of difficulty while reinforcing existing knowledge, helping students achieve their full potential.

For adult learners, I offer flexible lessons designed around your interests and objectives. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to a language after many years, or looking to improve your conversational fluency, I provide a relaxed and encouraging learning environment in which you can progress at your own pace.

I believe that successful language learning comes from building confidence as well as knowledge. My teaching is patient, positive and adapted to each learner's needs, ensuring lessons are both enjoyable and productive. Over the past two decades, I have helped students achieve excellent examination results, prepare for university, relocate abroad and develop the language skills they need for work or leisure.
