I am a fully qualified Secondary Maths Teacher with 17 years of teaching experience, offering high-quality tuition in Mathematics at both primary and secondary level.

I currently teach part-time in a secondary school, which means my teaching knowledge, training and understanding of the current National Curriculum and examination requirements are fully up to date.

My lessons are carefully structured around each child’s individual needs, ability and learning goals. I use a combination of teacher-led explanations, worked examples, guided practice and independent activities to help pupils develop a secure understanding of mathematical concepts.

I believe in building strong foundations, developing problem-solving skills and, most importantly, building confidence. I take time to identify gaps in understanding and address misconceptions before moving on. I regularly check pupils’ understanding through questioning, practice activities and assessment to ensure they are making genuine progress.

I have access to a wide range of teaching resources, programmes and materials, which I use to create engaging, purposeful and appropriately challenging lessons.
