I am a science teacher with a friendly, supportive teaching style.
I have a 1st class degree in Biochemistry and a MSc in Clinical Microbiology.

I use adaptive teaching to meet learners’ individual needs and ensure concepts are accessible for all students. In my online lessons, I scaffold new ideas carefully, model exam-style thinking, and use targeted questioning to check understanding. I incorporate past paper questions, retrieval practice, and effective revision techniques to build confidence and improve long-term retention. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are supported to make strong progress.

I have been tutoring for over a year and students appreciate my friendly, no judegment approach. My goal is to help students tackle barriers in science so that they feel more confident with areas they struggle with. I am available for online lessons after school and weekends. I teach biology, chemistry and physics up to GCSE (£25) and Biology at A-level (£30). I offer bulk lessons (e.g 10 lessons for £20 per lesson) My students tell me the topics they need help with and I create a plan for learning. We meet on Microsoft Teams and I share resources online. Homework can be given if this is desired by the client.

I can do in person lessons in Coventry for £35 a lesson where I travel to the client but this is on request only
