Hello! I’m Ruth, British, a fully-qualified teacher, and I’ve been learning and teaching languages my whole life.

I am passionate about language learning and about helping you to improve and feel confident in the language you are learning. My own language-learning journey and education have given me vital skills and insights which can be personalised to you and your reasons for learning English.

I travelled extensively and lived abroad since gaining my Bachelor’s degree in European Languages in the UK. I have been teaching French and Spanish to young learners (including GCSE) in London for eight years since earning my PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), specialising in teaching Modern Foreign Languages.

I have ten years of experience in teaching English, Spanish, French and Italian as a private tutor. Holding a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a PGCE, I have taught students of all ages for conversation, exam preparation and travel purposes.
