Ruqayyah Tabbasum

My lessons are tailored around you and your individual goals. When we first meet, we’ll discuss what you’d like to achieve, and I’ll create a practical plan to help you work towards it.

I plan every lesson carefully so that you’re learning something new while also revisiting what we’ve covered before. I’ll gradually introduce new challenges so that you can build on what you’ve learned and clearly see your progress over time. I’ll also adapt the pace and level of challenge to suit you, so you can make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed.

My lessons are interactive, with plenty of opportunities to practise, ask questions and learn from mistakes. I want you to feel comfortable while you’re learning, so my lessons are a judgement-free space where you don’t need to worry about getting things wrong. Mistakes are part of learning, and my aim is to support you as you build your skills and confidence.

I also provide homework where appropriate, which I review before our next lesson so that we can address any difficulties and continue building on your progress.

Most importantly, your lessons are your lessons. I’ll adapt what we cover and how we work according to your goals, strengths and areas you’d like to improve.
