With 13 years of teaching experience, as a tutor, I am committed to creating a supportive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment where every student can develop confidence and achieve their goals. I believe that learning should be tailored to the individual, so I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s age, ability, and preferred learning style.
For children aged 5–9, lessons focus on building strong foundations in Maths and English through interactive activities, practical examples, and structured practice. I aim to make learning enjoyable while helping students develop essential skills in reading, writing, numeracy, problem-solving, and communication. By encouraging curiosity and celebrating progress, I help young learners grow in confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
For adults who are new to English, lessons focus on practical language skills that can be used in everyday life, work, education, and social situations. Sessions cover speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with clear explanations and plenty of opportunities to practise. Maths support can also be provided where needed, helping learners build confidence with numbers and everyday calculations.
My teaching approach is patient, flexible, and learner-centred in a calm and safe environment. I encourage questions and provide regular feedback so that students can clearly see their progress and understand the next steps in their learning journey. Whether supporting a child with their early education or helping an adult improve their English and Maths skills, my goal is to help every learner feel capable, motivated, and confident in their abilities while making steady and meaningful progress.
