I tailor my lessons to each student's individual needs. I begin by identifying the topics they find most challenging using targeted questions and past paper practice. From there, I explain the concepts clearly, work through examples together, and use exam-style questions to build confidence and deepen understanding.
I place a strong emphasis on exam technique and understanding the underlying concepts, helping students maximise their marks while gaining confidence in the subject. This approach has helped my students achieve excellent results in their exams.
Lessons are typically one hour long, although I am happy to offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student's needs. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where they feel comfortable tackling challenging topics and enjoy the learning process. At the end of each session, I summarise the key ideas covered and, where appropriate, provide links to additional practise questions to further master the topics we reviewed.
I am currently studying Computer Science at the University of Oxford and have been tutoring for the past year. I teach GCSE and A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Computer Science. Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen your understanding of difficult topics, I will help you achieve your academic goals.
