Advert description
I am a second-year undergraduate (going into my third year) studying Computer Science at the University of Oxford. At A-Level, I achieved an A* in Mathematics, an A* in Chemistry, an A in Further Mathematics, and an A in Music. My strong academic background, combined with a year of tutoring experience, has given me the skills to explain difficult concepts clearly and help students build both confidence and exam technique.
I am passionate about breaking complex mathematical topics into clear, manageable steps, helping students develop a deep understanding of the material and achieve their academic goals.
About my lessons:
My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs. I begin by identifying the topics they find most challenging using past paper questions and targeted practice to assess their understanding. From there, we focus on strengthening those areas through clear explanations, worked examples, and exam-style questions until the student feels confident across all topics.
I place a strong emphasis on past papers and exam technique, helping students understand not only the content but also how to approach questions effectively to maximise their marks. This structured approach has helped my students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve excellent results in their exams.
Lessons are typically one hour long, although I am happy to offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student's needs and preferences.
I have been tutoring students for the past year and teach Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science up to A-Level. I welcome students of all abilities, whether they are looking to build confidence, improve their grades, achieve top marks, or prepare for applications to competitive universities.
