I am a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, structured and engaging learning for pupils across the primary phase. My teaching approach is calm, consistent and evidence-informed, with a clear focus on assessing pupils’ starting points, identifying learning priorities and supporting measurable academic progress. In addition to mainstream classroom experience, I have advanced knowledge of Special Educational Needs, enabling me to adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of learning profiles, including pupils with more complex or overlapping needs, while ensuring lessons remain accessible, purposeful and appropriately challenging. I provide online 1-to-1 or small-group tuition for primary-aged pupils, including learners requiring additional support or consolidation, pupils developing confidence in core subjects, children preparing for assessments or transition, learners with identified or emerging SEND, those who benefit from structured individualised support, and home-educated pupils. All sessions are tailored to the individual child, with a strong emphasis on building secure understanding, confidence and independence. Lessons are structured, supportive and goal-oriented, with regular assessment to monitor progress and clear communication with families where appropriate. My aim is to ensure that pupils feel safe, motivated and well-supported in their learning, while also promoting resilience, independence and a positive attitude towards education. I am committed to maintaining high professional standards, working collaboratively with families and settings, and ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to thrive and achieve their full potential within a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
