Maths and English Tutor for Primary school aged children, including SATS Preparation

I am an enthusiastic and engaging tutor with a background in acting and children’s theatre, which means I bring energy, creativity, and excitement to every lesson. I believe learning should be dynamic and inspiring, and I love finding imaginative ways to help children connect with their work.

For the past twelve years, I have tutored English and Maths to primary-aged children, supporting pupils across a wide range of abilities. I am highly experienced in SATs preparation at both KS1 and KS2 levels as well as working to support home educated children. I love to help children build the skills, confidence, and exam techniques they need to succeed.

I have worked extensively with pupils with dyslexia and ADHD, and I understand the importance of patience, adaptability, and encouragement. Every lesson I teach is carefully tailored to suit the individual child’s learning style, strengths, and goals.

Alongside academic tutoring, I am also an experienced drama coach. I work with children to develop confidence, public speaking skills, and oracy, empowering pupils to express themselves clearly and confidently both in the classroom and beyond.
