I am a native English speaker and hold a TEFL certificate, therefore qualified to teach English as a foreign language to children and adults. My lessons are friendly, patient and focused on real life situations. I love helping students improve pronunciation, fluency and help them become confident in speaking English through relaxed conversations. I also love helping students who wants to improve their business English and enhance their vocabulary within the working environment. I also help students practice for their job interviews at global companies.
Lessons are planned according to my students' needs and goals.
We will look at material such as enhancing vocabulary and phrases in restaurants, airports, travelling, meeting people, describing places, describing people, daily routines, shopping while travelling, expressing your likes and dislikes, accepting and declining invitations and many more.
Within business we will look at introducing yourself within a work environment, networking and small talk at business or work events like conferences, workshops and seminars, Time Management, project management, Office vocabulary, e-mails, participating in meetings, negotiating, presentations, business vocabulary and many more.
I also love having conversational lessons with students to practice speaking and pronunciation skills. During our conversations, I will correct your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation if needed. This usually helps my students become more confident in speaking English to others.
We will also watch videos such as Ted Talks and YouTube videos to enhance listening skills.
Reading articles and or short stores to enhance your comprehension and have discussions about what we have read.
