Ritvik Mekala

I have a wide experience in Classics, having been learning Latin for 10 years and Ancient Greek for 9 years and I have taught more than 10 students at GCSE level. The truth is finding Classics tutors are very hard, the subject is regarded as very antiquarian and inaccessible to the wider population. But I enjoy making it seem fun, which it is, covering over a thousand years of history, with important innovations that shape the modern Western world and also a rich mythology teeming with interesting stories. Along with learning the languages, we will delve into theses aspects of Classics, leading to a rounded and engaging education where the student feels enthralled by the various aspects of one of the richest subjects in the world. I have qualification such as being the Classics scholar at Charterhouse and getting a top notch education at UCL, yet I feel I am young enough to truly connect with the student, instead of seeming like an uptight and tedious teacher.
