Consider this: why do people with years of French classes struggle to communicate as soon as they land in France? Why is there such a huge gap between the French taught in schools and the spoken word in the motherland?
I like to teach French the same way I learned it growing up in a multilingual family. It's the same way you picked up your native tongue. You learned to speak by ear and by an acquired intuition, not by parsing out grammar on a chalkboard. You started taking small steps in conversation: listening, asking questions and expressing yourself. No matter what your age, I'm here to engage you in the same process.
Even if you barely understand a word of French, spending an hour a day for a week or two listening and being guided through those first baby steps can get you speaking well enough to make yourself understood in most situations, and it can raise your game substantially if you're already semi-proficient. More advanced speakers can sharpen their skills in a non-threatening environment with feedback on presentations, speeches, an academic thesis, or any type of professional patter required for work
Sessions are conducted through video link or voice only, as you prefer.
