I am a native speaker of both German and English and completed my Abitur education in Germany with strong academic results, including English at A-level standard. Having been educated in Germany, I understand both the structure of the language and how it is used naturally in everyday life.

My online German lessons are tailored to adults, students and children, and are adapted to each learner’s level, goals and learning style. I teach German from scratch for complete beginners, as well as for more advanced learners who want to improve conversation skills, pronunciation, writing or editing. Lessons can focus on general language development, school support, exam preparation or confidence building in spoken German.

My teaching approach is structured, clear and supportive. I break down grammar into simple, understandable steps and combine this with practical exercises, real-life examples and regular speaking practice. I correct mistakes constructively and explain not only what is incorrect, but why, helping students develop long-term understanding rather than memorisation.

I place strong emphasis on building confidence, as this is often the biggest challenge when learning a new language. Lessons are interactive and encouraging, and students are guided to actively use German from the beginning at a pace that suits them. Each lesson is personalised, with clear goals and progress reviewed regularly.

My aim is to help students feel comfortable and confident using German independently, whether for everyday communication, academic purposes or personal interest.
