My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I offer tutoring for primary and secondary school students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as support for students preparing for the 11+ entrance exams.

For school students, I follow their school curriculum and adapt each lesson to their age, ability, and learning goals. Lessons are planned around what students are currently learning at school. This could involve revisiting a topic they covered that week but did not fully understand, strengthening difficult areas, or preparing for an upcoming test or exam.

I use clear explanations, diagrams, worked examples, and practice questions to help students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts rather than simply memorising information. I also provide homework and end-of-topic tests to reinforce learning and assess each student’s understanding. This allows me to identify areas that need further support and adapt future lessons accordingly.

For primary school students, I can support their understanding of basic science concepts while helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for the 11+, including comprehension, problem-solving, reasoning, and exam technique.

For secondary school students, I provide support across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping students understand challenging topics, keep up with their schoolwork, and prepare effectively for tests and exams.

My aim is to create a friendly and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their knowledge, skills, and confidence in science.
