My lessons are tailored to meet each student’s unique needs, whether you’re preparing for GCSEs or A-Levels, learning English as a second language, or looking to build fluency for everyday life. I teach students aged 14+ and adults, and I offer both virtual and in-person sessions depending on your preference.

A typical lesson starts with a brief warm-up to check progress and set the day’s goals. From there, we move into focused tasks—this might include essay planning, reading analysis, grammar correction, or structured conversation practice. For ESL learners, I often use real-life situations, visual prompts, and vocabulary-building exercises to make lessons practical and engaging.

My approach is flexible and student-led: I listen closely to your goals and adjust content and pacing to suit your learning style. I also have personal experience with ADHD, so I bring a neurodivergent-friendly approach to my sessions—this includes structure, movement breaks, and creative tools for focus and memory.

Academically, I hold an MA in English Literary Studies from the University of Exeter and a BA in English Honours from Delhi University. I’m TESOL-certified and have taught across platforms like Preply, Superprof, and StudyPool. I also work as an academic proofreader, which sharpens my ability to support students with writing, structure, and grammar at every level.
