My name is Ramiro I was born and raised in Mexico in an indigenous town, then moved to the city called Oaxaca for my studies. Since high school, I have always liked the world of language teaching and preparing students to become bilingual. I speak my native language (Chatino), Spanish, English, French, and a little bit of Hebrew and I understand Portuguese a little bit as well. Languages have made me fall in love with teaching my native language. I have always worked as a Spanish teacher. I am now teaching asynchronously meaning I teach my lessons on zoom. I love to teach Spanish and see how happy it makes my students when I share my culture and the native language of my country. I have experience in using authentic materials for effective and dynamic learning. Thus, I also have the knowledge of preparing lesson plans and implementing technological tools for effective learning in the target language of the students. I use quizizz, kahoot, quizlet, and blackboard learn. Every time I teach I make sure my students are understanding what I am teaching and give them an interactive and fun class. My teaching philosophy has been that to learn another language, comprehensible input, authentic materials, and repetition have to be put into practice with the students to acquire the target language naturally. I think my experience in teaching Spanish as a second language has given me good leadership abilities and a piece of extensive knowledge in my field of expertise. Now everything I have learned I share it with my students so that they can grow professionally and personally.
