Warm-up review — We begin with a short retrieval activity to strengthen memory and build confidence.

New learning — I introduce concepts using modelling, scaffolding, and step-by-step explanations.

Guided practice — We work through tasks together, using questioning and discussion to deepen understanding.

Independent practice — You apply your learning through carefully chosen activities that match your level.

Review and feedback — We end with a recap, celebrating successes and identifying next steps.

My lessons are interactive and varied. Depending on your goals, sessions may include:

Reading fluency work — decoding, comprehension strategies, vocabulary building

Writing development — sentence structure, grammar, planning, editing

Mathematics mastery — concrete–pictorial–abstract methods, problem-solving, reasoning

Confidence-building activities — praise, reflection, growth-mindset language

Multisensory learning — visual aids, manipulatives, games, movement-based tasks

Lessons are calm, encouraging, and paced to suit the learner. I adapt quickly—if something isn’t working, we shift approach. If a child is thriving, we stretch and challenge them.
