Mathematics is not just a subject — it is a way of thinking. My goal as a tutor is to help every student move from confusion and anxiety to clarity and confidence, one step at a time.
I hold a BSc in Statistics from KNUST and an MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence (Merit) from Teesside University, giving me a deep, analytical understanding of mathematics at every level. I also have hands-on classroom experience teaching secondary school mathematics, where I learned how to read a struggling student quickly and adapt my explanations accordingly.
My lessons are structured but flexible. We begin by identifying exactly where a student is — what they understand, where the gaps are, and what their specific goals look like, whether that is passing a GCSE, boosting a KS3 grade, or tackling A-Level content with confidence. From there, every session is tailored to that individual.
In practice, lessons typically combine a short review of previous material, targeted explanation of new concepts using worked examples, and guided practice where I gradually hand over responsibility to the student. I use real-world contexts wherever possible to make abstract topics feel meaningful and memorable.
I am patient, encouraging, and direct — I will always tell you honestly where you need to focus. I tutor KS2 through to A-Level, covering topics including number, algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus.
