I am TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualified as of 2022 which I means I have experience of planning methodical lesson plans and activities. As well as this, I know how to keep students engaged and entertained during sessions.

I am currently a Peer Assisted Learning mentor which involves offering both academic and pastoral guidance to first year undergraduate students. This has given me the skills of active listening as these sessions are mainly student led. From this, I have also learnt how to help students set productive and achievable goals and providing them with resources to help them do this.
