I am a second-year English Literature student at King’s College London with a strong background in teaching and tutoring across a wide range of ages. I have experience working with younger students (ages 7–10) in summer camps, where I taught foundational English skills using flashcards, interactive activities, and grammatical sentence exercises. I have also tutored students for the English section of the SAT, all of whom went on to achieve high scores.
For learners aged 13–15, I have provided guidance in creative writing, helping students build confidence, develop their unique voice, and express their ideas clearly. Academically, I achieved a Level 7 in Higher Level English Literature in the International Baccalaureate, and I am well-equipped to support exam preparation, essay writing, and analytical skills through structured guidance, secondary research support, and clear argument development.
My ongoing university experience allows me to assist with both professional and academic writing across a variety of topics and texts. I rely on past papers, mark schemes, and rubrics to help students achieve their goals, and I can also create targeted practice questions to strengthen exam readiness.
I believe that confidence and consistent practice are essential for success in English and Literature. For younger students, I bring enthusiasm and patience, ensuring they feel comfortable as they build verbal and written skills. I also create personalised study resources—such as Quizlets, mind maps, and study plans—to help every student feel prepared, supported, and motivated.
