Pia Flynn-Jones

Bonjour! My name is Pia and I am a French Tutor. I offer 1 hour lessons online for students who are a complete beginner, to students who are taking their GCSE's.

I am a kind and patient tutor who believes the key to learning a language is building confidence! My goal is for every student to feel proud of their progress and develop an 'I can do it' attitude, because everyone is capable of learning a language.

My lessons are always tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. If you learn best through games, pictures, songs, or speaking and listening activities, I will adapt to make sure the lessons are both fun and effective. I want students to feel excited to come to class and to leave each lesson with more confidence and a new skill.

In our first lesson, I will get to know you, your interests, and how you enjoy learning. From there, I’ll design lessons that are interactive and engaging, with a balance of speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice suited to your level. I also like to include fun activities like role-plays, storytelling, and simple challenges to make learning enjoyable and memorable.

I aim to be a supportive tutor who makes language learning something you look forward to, while ensuring you make steady, noticeable progress.
