Phoebe Walker

I am a final year student at the University of Nottingham studying English and Classics (BA). I studied English, German, and Photography at A-Level and achieved good grades in all three subjects. I enjoy reading and studying Latin in my spare time. I will offer lessons in both English Literature and German between the levels of primary school and A-Level depending on respective ability.
I will spend the first lesson getting to know the student, their strengths and weaknesses as well as their goals for the subjects. Once these have been established, we will discuss what we will do to achieve these goals by both providing input into how the lessons should be structured. Once this introduction has taken place, we will spend as many lessons as the student requests building up knowledge and confidence, using regular feedback to adjust the teaching style to suit their learning style.
I am happy to travel to the student’s house if they request, or am able to communicate online if it is preferred. I am reachable 7 days a week via email and the phone, and my schedule allows for lessons on any of these days also.

Don’t be afraid to place any requests or suggestions if it allows for a comfortable and easy environment during the tutoring sessions. Education is individual and personal; there are no wrong answers or embarrassing questions, only opportunities to learn.
