Dear students,
As someone who has been teaching English to learners of all proficiency levels — from complete beginners at A1 through to advanced C2 students — for over two and a half years, I am confident I can bring both experience and genuine enthusiasm to your team.
Through my work on Preply, I have developed the ability to adapt lessons to a wide range of learning styles, paces, and goals. Whether working with a student building basic conversational confidence or one refining their academic writing, I approach each session with patience and a focus on consistent, structured progress. Teaching is not something I fell into incidentally — it runs alongside my degree in English Literature and History at the University of Sussex, and the two genuinely reinforce each other.
Beyond the online classroom, I had the opportunity to volunteer as an English teacher at a charity school in Arusha, Tanzania in 2024, through Travel For Charity. Teaching in a resource-limited environment with students from very different cultural and educational backgrounds was one of the most rewarding and instructive experiences I have had. It sharpened my ability to communicate clearly, improvise, and connect with learners on a human level — skills I bring back to every session.
I am a native English speaker with proficient Polish and basic Spanish and French, which has often helped me understand where students are coming from linguistically. I also have a strong writing background — I contribute regularly to my university's student newspaper and am currently completing a novella — which means I am well placed to support students working on written English as well as spoken.
