Phil Gorman

I am an extremely experienced teacher and examiner of both Psychology and Sociology in both schools and colleges at A level. I have experience of tutoring for AQA, OCR, Edexcel and Cambridge International. In my many years of teaching and tutoring, I have built up a wealth of resources that are focused on helping students achieve A and A* grades, all of which are used in my lessons and shared with my tutees. My approach to teaching is to be highly flexible and approachable so that students feel able to ask questions about anything they are unsure about.
My examining experience is second to none, having been Chief Examiner for A level Psychology and holding senior positions in A level Sociology.
I am always totally exam focused and have a lot of inside knowledge of how exams are marked as I am currently one of the Assistant Principals on Psychology A level. This allows me to offer detailed insight on how to approach exams and how to get the most out of answers to exam questions.
My knowledge of Psychology and Sociology is also very strong and I have published textbooks on Psychology topics related to the A level specifications.
